Zuni is a Native American tribe that is located in New Mexico. They are known for the intricate inlay work, and very fine lapidary skills.
Effie Calavaza is highly collected artist in the Native American Jewelry world. Her work is known for the winding snake that she incorporates in all her pieces. She has been making this style for over 60 years. In the last 20 years, Effie passed her designs to her family as they all sign their work "Effie C". She uses Natural turquoise and Natural Coral in all of her pieces.
