Description: Navajo Pearls is a name that has been popularized to describe the traditional set of Navajo handmade bench-made silver beads. Traditionally, Navajo pearls are made by cutting two silver disc and doming each side. Once domed the holes are drilled in the center and the two halves are then filed to fit snug and soldered together. Beads made in this style are consider handmade.
These necklaces have beads that are machine-formed and soldered.They are hand-finished with an old-style patina and strung by Navajo artist, Mason Lee and are considered hand-crafted/assembled.
