This piece is a stunning example of classic Navajo jewelry. This piece is handmade out of sterling silver and genuine stones. We have two of these in stock, please allow for a slight variation of stones as each piece is individually handmade.
Sandcasting is the Navajo technique of using packed sand, or sand-like material (often Portland cement and motor oil) as a mold. The sand-like material is pack around a "model piece" that is removed, leaving an impression, that is then filled with molten silver.
