This large, ornate sterling silver cross pendant is handcrafted from heavy-gauge silver by respected Navajo artist June Delgarito.

The pendant is characterized by its traditional Navajo stamped scalloped edges, which give the cross shape a soft, intricate border. The heavy silver arms of the cross are covered with detailed hand-stamping, creating texture and a depth of craftsmanship.

At the center is a beautiful, oval Golden Hills Turquoise cabochon. Golden Hills Turquoise is highly valued for its distinctive coloring: a pale, icy-blue or "lavender-blue" hue contrasted by a unique reddish-brown or rust-colored matrix. This specific stone adds a rare and highly sought-after element to the traditional design. The stone is set securely in a silver bezel, and the entire pendant hangs from a substantial, triangular bail.
